In 2017, researchers from Columbia University’s Teachers College studied the academic impact Frontier had on 6th - 8th grade students attending Propel Schools in Pittsburgh, PA.
In their data analysis, Columbia researchers arrived at the following conclusions:
“Frontier leads to stronger academic outcomes, particularly among struggling students.”
“Increased usage of Frontier... is correlated with meeting growth targets.”
“Underperforming students who consistently use Frontier are significantly more likely to meet their expected growth target than underperforming students who do not consistently use Frontier.”
