A Study by Chris Weber, David Vinca, and Debbie Jang
Students are not as successful as they can be, and it is not the fault of students. We, as adults and educators, must do a better job of meeting students’ needs. The cost of educating students, and more specifically the costs of educating students with special needs have been in conflict with the financial resources allocated to education for decades.
A more creative solution, one that provides superior supports to students with the same level of resource allocation, is a necessity. The strategic incorporation of technology, particularly technology that is more widely scalable and that takes advantage of next-generation innovations, must be part of this solution.
