Using eSpark At Home

Independent, engaging activities for all learners

eSpark can be used at home as a great way for students to continue accessing math and reading content at a level that's right for them, even if they're not in the classroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why eSpark instead of other online learning tools?

Most other online resources in math and reading provide great practice but don’t actually teach students with instruction. eSpark has assessment, direct instruction, and practice to help your students learn and master new skills.

How can I best support eSpark at home?

While school is closed, we recommend students log into eSpark daily for 20-30 minutes for each subject. Don’t help your student with assessments as it will lead to them receiving content that’s too hard for them to do independently. Encourage them to try their best!

What type of device do I need for my child to use eSpark?

eSpark will work on any computer, laptop, or tablet with a browser (like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox).

What information will parents receive about their child’s eSpark use?

Parents will receive email alerts, recommendations and tips for making the most of eSpark instructional time at home. If your child uses eSpark in school, contact their teacher for more information about their progress.

How can schools or districts recommend families use eSpark during COVID-19 school closures?

We recommend contacting parents to share this link along with their child’s eSpark login information, if they already have an account.
